Systems Fibertec 2010

This is a semi-automatic system that uses internally preheated reagents added to a closed system to minimise contact with hot reagents. It determines fibre content according to Weende, van Soest and other recognised methods. Single or sequential extractions including boiling, rinsing and filtration are performed under reproducible and controlled conditions.

Operator safety: Batch handling tools improve operator safety as there is no need for handling of hot crucibles. The automated heating and addition of the reagents in the system minimises contact with hot reagents.

Future-proof reference method: The Fibertec systems handle samples in specially designed filter crucibles that are used as an integral part of the assembly during extraction, rinsing and filtration. The crucibles can also be used as sample vessels during weighing, drying and ashing. The Fibertec method is as described in the relevant ISO and EC standards.

Parameters: Crude fibre, detergent fibre and dietary fibre and acid detergent lignin
For use by: Laboratories
Technology: Automated Weende, van Soest, enzymatic methods and other recognised methods
Samples: Various kinds of feed and food samples
